What Is Wallxy? The Digital Workspace Built for Indian Architecture & Construction
Explore Wallxy's features, from AutoCAD conversion and secure file transfer to structured drawing approvals, task boards, and scoped team collaboration.
if you run an architecture, interior design, or civil construction firm in India, you are likely managing your business across three different worlds:
The Design World: AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop on high-end laptops.
The Site World: Physical prints, phone calls, and chaotic WhatsApp groups filled with sub-contractors, supervisors, and vendors.
The Client World: Meeting folders, budget sheets, payment reminders, and endless alignment discussions.
Traditional project management software is rarely a good fit. It is either too complex (built for multi-million dollar infrastructure projects in the US, requiring dedicated document controllers) or too generic (basic task lists that do not understand drawings or CAD files).
This is why we built Wallxy.
Wallxy is a centralized digital workspace created specifically for Indian design and construction workflows. It bridges the gap between your design studio and your site team, bringing structure to drawing approvals, material specifications, and team collaboration.
Here is a transparent breakdown of what Wallxy is, exactly what features it offers, and what it does not do.
Part 1: What Wallxy Actually Has (Active Features)
We built Wallxy around the daily operations of Indian architecture practices. Here are the core features you can use in the platform today:
1. Structured Drawings Management

Drawings are the foundation of any project. Instead of letting them float around in email attachments or group chats, Wallxy’s Drawings tab organizes files in a structured, nested folder system:
Organize files by Building, Category (Foundation, Floor Plans, Elevations, Services), and Floor/Detail.
Every drawing moves through an active review workflow:
Pending➔Submitted➔Under Review➔Approved(with support forRevision Required).Old drawing versions are automatically archived as new ones are uploaded, ensuring the site team always sees the current, active layout.
2. QuickDesk Tools & Calculators
QuickDesk is Wallxy’s utility hub designed for instant, daily tasks:
AutoCAD Converter: Convert newer DWG files to older AutoCAD formats (like AutoCAD 2000) with a single click. This ensures site supervisors running legacy CAD versions can open your drawings instantly.

File Transfer: Upload large project files (up to 2GB) and generate secure share links with optional password protection (AES-256 ZIP encryption), custom expiry times, and detailed download tracking logs.

Indian Construction Calculators: Built-in estimators for Concrete Mix, Quantity Calculations (Cement, Sand, Aggregate), Diagonal measurements, FSI calculations, and estimates for Kitchens and Wardrobes.
3. Multi-Company Collaboration & Scoped Access

A project involves multiple separate entities—your design firm, a structural consultant, a civil contractor, an MEP vendor, and the client.
Instead of putting everyone in a single group chat, Wallxy operates on a Scoped Role-Based Access structure.
You control exactly what each company and person can see. The client sees project progress boards. The civil contractor sees civil drawings. The MEP consultant sees service drawings. Nobody is overwhelmed, and confidential files remain secure.
4. Task Boards & Activity Logs
Kanban Task Boards: Assign tasks to specific teammates or contractors with due dates, priority tags, and file attachments.

Full Activity Log: Every drawing upload, status change, task completion, and scheduling update is logged and timestamped, creating a clear audit trail for client and consultant alignment.

5. Appointments & Site Visit Scheduling

Schedule site visits, client reviews, and slab-casting inspections on a shared project calendar.
Includes built-in notes and Google Calendar synchronization to keep your design team and consultants aligned.
Part 2: What Wallxy Does Not Do (Complete Transparency)
We believe in being completely honest about our platform. Wallxy is not a magic wand, and there are some things it does not do:
We do not provide pre-seeded manufacturer catalogs: While Wallxy features a digital Explore Catalog (
/explore/catalog), it does not come pre-loaded with millions of brand products. Instead, it is a tool where you build your own custom spec library. You upload your preferred wood veneer swatches, tile codes, and glass datasheets, saving them directly to your workspace. We do not replace daily phone calls: We know site work requires human conversation. Wallxy does not replace verbal communication. Instead, it pulls critical contract releases, drawing approvals, budget updates, and final material codes out of informal chat threads into a permanent, searchable record.
We do not edit CAD drawings: While our built-in tools help you convert DWG files to older formats, Wallxy is a management and collaboration workspace—not an online CAD editing software.
Part 3: Pricing Made Simple
Wallxy is designed to be affordable for growing boutique practices and large firms alike. We offer clear, transparent pricing with no hidden setup fees:
